First Full Day of Fostering

Well, we brought the puppies home last night and by the time we're done feeding them (every 4 hours), letting them out to play and relieve themselves, prepping their bedding and putting them down for a nap, it's time to start the whole process all over again. It reminds me of watching my remarkable sister-in-law care for her twin boys after they were born. By the time she was done with one, it was time to feed the other!

More detailed posts to come. But for now, here are some good pics and some info on each of the pups!

Peaches
Peaches is our little blue fawn colored girl. She just looks like a fuzzy, little peach, hence the name. She loves her toys and is as sweet as can be, but she also knows how to stand up for herself when her bigger brother picks on her. She also LOVES to smell our lavender plants in the front yard!

Ralphie
Ralphie is the tinier of the two boy pups. He likes to do his own thing, often laying quietly in the grass by himself, or passing out for a nap in the corner of his crate while his other siblings rough house next to him. He also growls and acts tough while eating in order to prevent his fatter brother and sister from hogging all the food.

Big George (aka "Georgie")
Big George is a big chub. He literally looks like he swallowed a football. His belly is so big and round that when he rolls onto his back, he gets stuck and needs help getting back up! He's also a big bully and picks on his brother and sister constantly.
