Day 2 : Trying to find a routine

Slowly but surely, a morning routine is forming in our home. (That's Big George and his belly in the pic above.)

Up around 6:30am. Prep the puppy food bowl. Wake the little gluttons up. Let them chow down for about 10-15 min. Carry them outside onto the grass to "do their business"--which remarkably they all do when and where they're supposed to. Bring them back inside for more water and some play time. And then watch them all pass out again so that I can take my own two dogs for morning ball time.

I made the mistake of coming out into the livingroom at 4am this morning only to see that two little faces were staring right at me. Unfortunately at that point it's been 8 hours since they last ate and mass hysteria ensues because they're expecting a food bowl. Luckily after 20 minutes or so of chewing on one another to compensate, they all went back to sleep.

Ralphie is getting spunkier. Wrestling with his pee pads and randomly leaping from one spot to the next.

Peaches does these crazy flying leaps out of the crate every time I open it up. She'll no doubt be a master escape artist.

And although Georgie's belly doesn't seem quite as profound this morning, I've still had to help him roll his hippo-like body back over a few times.
