Well, we are officially what they refer to in the rescue biz as a "foster failure" . . . meaning we have decided that we love Peaches too much and have officially adopted her!
Minus the antics and competition from her two foster brothers, Peaches has proven to be a quiet, mellow little lady (still packed full of puppy energy, of course) who has a great time hanging out with our two adult dogs, Charlie and Hudson, and who is quite confident that she will be able to woo our cat, who she is madly in love with and submits to completely.
This week has been her foray into leash training and car outings. She's been to the Produce Station, Dominick's for pizza (unbeknownst to management), to Green Pawz pet store (where she was mauled by the store kitten, Paws), and to the new UM business school patio where she made many a sad business student wish they were out playing with a puppy instead of studying.
Her favorite thing, however, is chasing the fall leaves, which she insists on doing regardless of what direction we are supposed to be heading.
