We just took an impromptu weekend trip to Saugatuck, MI with all three of the dogs--Hudson, Charlie and the Peach. Thanks to the
Park House Inn for providing a dog-friendly cottage and owners who love the pups!
Most importantly, Peaches went for her first real big girl walk with the older dogs. We walked all around downtown for a good 30 minutes. But perhaps the highlight of the trip was the opportunity to let Peach run like a mad woman up and down the empty Lake Michigan shoreline. She dug in the sand, ran through tidal pools, and snacked on nasty fish heads which we could never swipe from her fast enough! For those looking to travel with their dogs, we highly recommend Saugatuck . . . and so does Peach.
